THE TRUCK HUB GROUP LIMITED – IN LIQUIDATION
The Truck Hub Group Limited (the Company) which traded as The Wheel Hub has ceased to trade following an unsuccessful marketing campaign to sell the business at the end of 2022. As a consequence of the failure to secure a buyer for the business, the director took the decision to place the Company into Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation.
David Hopkins and James Stephen of BDO LLP were appointed Joint Liquidators of the Company on 15th February 2023.
The Company, which had traded for approximately 30 years, was a major importer and distributor of aluminium and steel wheels with premises based in South Manchester.
The Joint Liquidators have appointed Wignall Brownlow, Chartered Surveyors based in central Manchester, to dispose of the Company’s assets on their behalf. The assets, which comprise of Aluminium Wheels for Commercial Vehicles, Commercial Vehicle & Trailer Tyres, Tyre Fitting Machinery, Factory Equipment and Office Equipment will be sold by way of an online auction sale which will be conducted by Wignall Brownlow using the auction platforms at Bidspotter and i-bidder. The sale closes from 11.00am on Wednesday 8th March 2023 with a view day on Tuesday 7th March from the Company’s premises at 50 Leestone Road, Sharston Industrial Area, Manchester, M22 4RF. Viewing is by appointment which must be arranged through Wignall Brownlow.
