Hundreds of people from the automotive world gathered in London and helped raise £102,000 for Ben at its annual Christmas ball. The money was raised during the Ben Ball, which took place at Grosvenor House on Park Lane, goes towards helping Ben continue its vital work supporting people from the automotive industry who face some of life’s toughest challenges.
David Main has retired as chief executive officer of BEN, and the non-profit organisation supporting those employed in the automotive industry has named Zara Ross his successor. Ross brings over 30 years of experience in the charity sector to her new role; most recently, she served as director of transformation and development at the St Monica Trust, a body that provides accommodation, care and support for older people in the south west of England.
