Yokohama Advan tyres OE on 2 Mercedes-AMG models
Yokohama RubberMercedes-AMG has selected Yokohama tyres as original equipment for two new models. Both the GLE 53 4MATIC+ and the GLS 63 4MATIC+ are available from the factory with Yokohama Advan Sport V107 tyres.

Five new Yokohama tyres for 2020
Yokohama Rubber has long been one of the most significant firms within the tyre industry to exhibit at the Geneva International Motor Show. Although this year’s event was cancelled, the tyre maker has proceeded with the virtual launch of no less than five products destined for European markets. The new additions to the Yokohama range are the BluEarth-GT AE51, BluEarth-XT AE61 and Geolandar CV G058, as well as the BluEarth Winter V906 and IceGuard Studless IG53 winter patterns.
Yokohama develops tyre for Maruti Suzuki concept EV
India’s car market leader Maruti Suzuki has unveiled a new concept vehicle ahead of the Auto Expo 2020 show, which begins tomorrow. Called the Concept Futuro-e, the SUV coupe gives a taste of what can be expected from the car maker’s ‘Mission Green Million’ plan to sell a million low emission vehicles in the next few years. Yokohama has developed a BluEarth tyre for the concept.

Yokohama OE tyre for 2020 Chrysler Voyager
Yokohama Rubber has announced another original equipment supply agreement, this time for North America. Its Yokohama Avid S34RV has been chosen as an original equipment tyre for 2020 Chrysler Voyager models sold in the US and Mexican markets. The Voyager will wear the tyre in size 235/65R17 104T.

A renewed version of Yokohama Rubber’s corporate website is now online. The company says this update aims to “promote greater penetration of the Yokohama Rubber corporate image” among website users by strengthening corporate identity and visual identity to more effectively communicate its corporate vision.

Tyre sensor development – Yokohama Rubber working with Alps Alpine
Yokohama Rubber has teamed up with Alps Alpine to conduct research and development into CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Services and Electric) compliant sensors for passenger car tyres. Nissan’s Russian manufacturing operation has acknowledged tyre maker Yokohama a Nissan Best Supplier Award. Igor Boitsov, general director of Nissan Manufacturing Rus LLC, presented the award to LLC Yokohama R.P.Z. at a ceremony in St. Petersburg.
Yokohama a class winner in ‘Australia’s Greatest Desert Race’
An event billed as ‘Australia’s Greatest Desert Race’ took place earlier this month in the vast emptiness of Australia’s Red Centre. Yokohama BluEarth-GT tyres for Mazda 3
The latest generation Mazda 3 went on sale last week, and Yokohama Rubber shares that its Yokohama BluEarth-GT AE51 is an original equipment tyre on vehicles sold in all markets except North America. The Mazda 3 wears the BluEarth-GT AE51 in size 205/60 R16.
Yokohama OE on Toyota RAV4
The Yokohama Avid GT has been selected as an original equipment tyre for the latest Toyota RAV4. The crossover, which was first launched in North America in 2018 prior to its release in Europe and other global markets this year. The fifth generation RAV4 will wear the Yokohama tyre in size 235/55R19 101V.
