Yokohama Advan tyres OE on 2 Mercedes-AMG models
Mercedes-AMG has selected Yokohama tyres as original equipment for two new models. Both the GLE 53 4MATIC+ and the GLS 63 4MATIC+ are available from the factory with Yokohama Advan Sport V107 tyres.

Yokohama Rubber has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT). The aim of this cooperative partnership with the state enterprise is to provide economic support for Thai natural rubber farmers and to improve traceability, with the aim of ensuring transparency and soundness within the supply chain.

Yokohama Rubber has announced another original equipment supply agreement, this time for North America. Its Yokohama Avid S34RV has been chosen as an original equipment tyre for 2020 Chrysler Voyager models sold in the US and Mexican markets. The Voyager will wear the tyre in size 235/65R17 104T.
A renewed version of Yokohama Rubber’s corporate website is now online. The company says this update aims to “promote greater penetration of the Yokohama Rubber corporate image” among website users by strengthening corporate identity and visual identity to more effectively communicate its corporate vision.

Nissan’s Russian manufacturing operation has acknowledged tyre maker Yokohama a Nissan Best Supplier Award. Igor Boitsov, general director of Nissan Manufacturing Rus LLC, presented the award to LLC Yokohama R.P.Z. at a ceremony in St. Petersburg.

The Yokohama Avid GT has been selected as an original equipment tyre for the latest Toyota RAV4. The crossover, which was first launched in North America in 2018 prior to its release in Europe and other global markets this year. The fifth generation RAV4 will wear the Yokohama tyre in size 235/55R19 101V.
