2020 marks Sailun’s 5th year supporting World Child Cancer as the transportation partner, alleviating the financial burden for families of children with cancer. Financially, Sailun continues its pledge to World Child Cancer – which supports children with cancer in the low and middle-income world – with a recent 50,000 euro donation.
During May’s Autopromotec 2017 in Bologna Sailun held a prize draw, and received customer donations and pledges of over 5000 euros, which Sailun matched to make a donation of 10,000 euros to the World Child Cancer charity.
Sailun has invited its key distributors and partners to participate in its six-month World Child Cancer (WCC) Challenge. Aimed at distributors in the EU, but not discounting partners from other regions, the Sailun WCC Challenge tasks is to raise as much money as possible between 1 November 2015 and 30 April 2016.

The charity is dedicated solely to addressing the global inequality in diagnosing and treating children with cancer. Of the more than 200,000 children who develop cancer worldwide each year, 80 per cent are from low or middle income countries where fewer than five per cent will survive. The survival rate in high income countries is 80 per cent.
