Kumho has launched a new heavy duty tyre for vans. The KC53 is primarily designed for the latest generation of large commercial vans and will gradually supersede the long-serving 857 in popular 15” and 16” sizes, the manufacturer states.
Davanti has announced the upcoming launch of two new tyres in January. The company – part of the Oak Tyres Group – says the new models are a result of increasing demand for Davanti from the market. The two tyres are the DX740, a commercial van tyre suitable for SUV applications, and the DX240, designed for smaller passenger car applications.
On 31 August, Nexen Tire announced that it will supply Volkswagen with its N’blue Premium tyre for the new Volkswagen Caddy, a compact van with global sales topping 1.5 million units over the past 11 years. The vehicle will be produced in Poznan, Poland and the tyres Nexen supplies will be 195/65 R15 products.

Kwik Fit reports that it is seeking to win new light commercial vehicle fleet business opportunities at the 2015 Commercial Vehicle Show.
