Cambrian Tyres, the UK’s largest motorcycle tyre distributor, is adding Mitas motorcycle tyres and mousse products to its expanding portfolio. The first delivery is expected to arrive on 5th November and will initially focus on the adventure and enduro markets, although Cambrian plans to expand the range it offers into other areas early next year.
The Board of Directors and management team of Stamford Tyres Corporation Limited has announced the death of Wee Kok Wah, the driving force that transformed the company from small tyre shop and retreader to global tyre and wheel distributor. Mr Wee passed away peacefully late on 21 October 2024, aged 78.

TireHub is now five years old and says it is looking forward to future growth. The US-based national tyre distributor, which was co-founded by Bridgestone & Goodyear, now operates 80 TireHub Logistics Centers and will add more to the network in the coming months, and TireHub also plans to open its first regional distribution centre later this year.
Off-highway tyre specialist GRI has acquired Hungary-based tyre distributor ATRA Kecskemet, a company reported to hold a more than 50 per cent market share in the country’s material handling and construction tyre markets. The acquisition includes eight ATRA branches across Hungary and brings the firm’s 50-strong workforce into the GRI fold.
Davanti Tyres has named Reifenvertrieb Seng its exclusive distributor for the German market. Seng primarily intends to sell the Davanti brand through its own online portal but will also distribute via specifically selected direct key accounts.
