Triangle Tire publishes H1 2022 results

On 30 August, Triangle Tire published its 2022 semi-annual report, and this shows that the company achieved revenue of RMB 4.277 billion (£535.5 million) and net profit of RMB 217 million (£27.2 million) in the six months to 30 June 2022. Revenue in the second quarter of this period amounted to RMB 2.426 billion (£303.8 million), a 31 per cent increase over the first quarter; Q2 2022 net profit of RMB 159 million (£19.9 million) was 172 per cent higher than in the first quarter of the year.

Triangle adopts “quality strategy” in Europe

As markets and events have reopened during the course of 2022, Triangle has hit the road in a significant way, meeting with and communicating to existing and potential customers alike at events and exhibitions across the continent including: Tire Cologne in Germany, Autopromotec in Italy and the Hillhead OTR event in the UK. Triangle presents Diamondback PCR, Triangle commercial tyres with Italian distributor

Triangle Tyre presented its recently developed Diamondback PCR range and Triangle-branded commercial tyres with their Italian distributor Sunebo SRL at Autopromotec 2022. Sunebo has been Triangle’s partner in the Italian market for many years, distributing its TBR and OTR tyres. At the Hall 20 booth, Triangle’s new TRD09 truck tyre pattern in the size 295/80R22.5 was most prominently displayed. The range is soon to be extended with new 315/80R22.5 and 315/70R22.5 sizes. The new regional haul tyre features extended mileage and even wear thanks to its optimised tread design and enhanced casing durability.

Latest Triangle tyres displayed at Hillhead as RH Claydon partnership grows

RH Claydon leveraged its recently formed partnership with prominent construction tyre manufacturer Triangle at Hillhead, the UK’s largest quarrying, construction and recycling exhibition, in Buxton (21-2 June). The companies welcomed jointly visitors to their 70 square metre booth, showcasing a representative sample of Triangle’s broad portfolio of off-the-road specialist tyres.

RH Claydon opening warehouse in Carlisle

BKT supplier and family-run tyre wholesaler RH Claydon (RHC) has announced the official opening date of its new depot in Carlisle’s Kingmoor Park North enterprise zone. From Monday 1 August the site will be open for deliveries and collections between 8 am and 5:30 pm Monday and for collection 9 am to 12 pm Saturdays. This depot is the company’s eighth site and will allow a greater coverage of the north and border areas.

Chinese tyremakers encouraging European customers to claim back truck tyre tariff payments

Triangle to demonstrate global OTR position at Hillhead 2022

Multi-segment Chinese tyre manufacturer Triangle Tyre is closing in on a top 20 position in Tyres & Accessories’ chart of the sector’s leading companies, but the brand has a particularly strong presence in the OTR tyre segment, in which Triangle claims a rank of fourth. The company has distributed earthmover products within Europe for more than 15 years, with this business supported via the establishment of a regional head office in Milan, Italy in 2017. It now claims a double-digit market share in the European OTR segment, which it has achieved via the introduction of new sizes to expand its already-wide range; the establishment of new partnerships, such as its UK distribution arrangement with RH Claydon, which commenced in late 2020; and participation in international fairs, the next of which will be the UK’s Hillhead 2022 show on 21-23 June. Triangle will exhibit its latest OTR products at the Buxton quarry from stand E23.

Triangle scraps US tyre factory project

Triangle Tire has scrapped its plans to a build roughly half-a-billion dollar tyre factory in North Carolina, USA. According to the company, the project which had been strongly supported by local government officials in North Carolina was ended amicably with mutual consent.

5 new Triangle tyre lines at The Tire Cologne

Triangle Tyre has confirmed it will exhibit at The Tire Cologne next month. Those attending the tyre fair in Germany between 24 and 26 May will find Triangle in Hall 7, presenting three new passenger car tyre and two new truck tyre lines.

Triangle exhibits all-season, mixed service tyres at Solutrans France 2021

Triangle is presenting its latest truck tyres alongside French distributor XL Pneus at the Solutrans show in Lyon, France, from 16 to 20 November 2021. Triangle’s commercial tyre range covers all positions and applications: from long haul to regional, mixed services, coach and urban, and dedicated winter products.
