Tyre repair material and tyre pressure monitoring system specialist Italmatic has launched its latest generation of aftermarket TPMS solution. With the Italsensor 3.0evo, Italmatic aims to “raise the standards in the TPMS aftermarket.” Italsensor 3.0evo is suitable for use with 99 per cent of the European car parc and is programmable through most popular tools, including ATEQ.
Hamaton is exhibiting at Autopromotec – the international automotive aftermarket trade show – in Bologna from 22-26 May. During the five-day event, Hamaton is launching two TPMS products on a brand-new stand.

Visitors to this year’s Bauma construction and mining machinery trade fair are amongst the first to see Phoenix TPMS, a new cloud-based system for construction tyres from Trelleborg Wheel Systems. Trelleborg claims its Phoenix TPMS will “enhance productivity in critical applications and to make the operator’s life easier in the most demanding environments.”
NIRA Dynamics has won a contract to deliver indirect TPMS to LEVC, formerly known as London Taxi Company. And TPI (Tyre Pressure Indicator) has already been installed in the first electric taxi vehicles in London.

The ETRMA has welcomed the endorsement of the new General Safety Regulation compromise agreement of 25 March by EU co-legislators. The European Parliament IMCO Committee endorsed the proposal for revising the General Safety Regulation on 2 April 2019. This regulation updates existing rules on vehicle safety by introducing new important elements into EU legislation, such as the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) for light and heavy commercial vehicles, trailers and buses.

Transense Technologies Plc, which provides sensors systems to the industrial, mining and transportation markets, is pleased to announce that “a customer” has placed an order for 50 iTrack II units for installation in mines in North America.
Cornwall-based Wills Brothers has become one of the first farms in the UK to fit a patented new safety system designed to protect machinery and trailers from the risk of tyre under-inflation. Arable Manager Tom Wills specified the Michelin Tyre Pressure Management System (TPMS) Light Fleet – pioneered by UK technology firm Wheely-Safe, an official licensee of Michelin – after seeing the product on show at Lamma.
Goodyear will feature its flagship products and solutions for construction fleets at the 2019 Bauma exhibition in Munich (8-14 April 2019). These will include the recently-announced Goodyear Omnitrac mixed service tyre range, which makes its exhibition debut at the show. The manufacturer will also showcase its Goodyear Proactive Solutions TPMS Heavy Duty, EMTrack tyre management system and the TL-4A OTR tyre. The manufacturer will be on Stand 224 in Hall A6 at the Messe München.
