Independent US tyre wholesaler Tire Group International is opening a new distribution facility in Tampa, Florida. The 50,000 square foot (4,650 square metre) centre will be operational as of 4 May and will carry all brands that TGI offers.

It’s a silver jubilee year for Tire Group International. Tire Group International (TGI) has named Craig Hancock its new chief financial officer. Hancock succeeds Alberto Olivares, who announced his retirement from the position at the end of 2016 after a serving in the role for the past 19 years. Olivares remains part of the TGI Executive Counsel.

Tire Group International (TGI) and Carlstar Group have entered a distribution agreement that will allow TGI to distribute Carlisle branded tyres in Latin America and the Caribbean. TGI will offer both direct factory shipments as well as fill-in from its distribution centre in Miami, Florida.
As of 1 April, Joaquin Gonzalez Jr. has taken on the role of president at US tyre wholesaler Tire Group International. Prior to his appointment to this new role, Gonzalez served as the company’s chief marketing officer. He joined TGI in 2006 as chief operating officer.
