As of 1 January 2024, Marc Debusschere is Zhongce Rubber Group’s Off Road Tyres & Track OEM Sales Director in Europe. ZR Rubber comments that this newly created position continues the global expansion of its OTR team.
Our visit to the Tianli stand at Agritechnica 2023 was poorly timed, but no language barrier can stop us from appreciating a new tyre. The ZC Rubber brand brought two to the show, Agri King and Land Care, which it displayed alongside other products from the wide Tianli range.
At next month’s Agritechnica fair in Germany, ZC Rubber will present the latest additions to the Tianli agricultural tyre range, the Agri King VF agricultural radial for high horsepower tractors and Land Care cross-ply tyre for wheeled excavators and backhoe loaders.
The Zhongce Rubber Group (ZC Rubber) has a new sales manager for agricultural tyres in Europe. Mark Turner has taken on the role of European sales director agricultural tyres.
Zhongce Rubber Group (Zhongce) has acquired Tianjin United Tire & Rubber International Co, Ltd (TUTRIC), the manufacturer of the Tianli off-the-road tyre brand. The acquisition means Zhongce will expand its business into the agricultural and giant OTR tyre segments, while bolstering its already strong offering to OTR and industrial tyre markets. Established in 1985 in the coastal city of Tianjin, near Beijing, TUTRIC manufactures 35,000 tonnes of OTR and agricultural tyres per year. The TUTRIC factory at Tianjin covers an area of 480,000sqm, employing more than 1,000 people. Zhongce says the acquisition is the next step in its continued global expansion. The manufacturer is China’s largest tyre-maker, and the world’s ninth biggest in Tyres & Accessories’ 2021 ranking.
Mahansaria Tyres Private Ltd (MTPL) has completed the previously announced acquisition of a majority stake in European Agriculture Tyre Distributor (EATD). As a result, EATD has relocated its operations from Strijen, The Netherlands, to Wallenhorst in Germany.
A new investor is coming on board at EATD B.V. The agricultural tyre distributor won’t disclose the identity of this new investor until a letter of intent is signed at next week’s Agritechnica show in Germany. EATD nevertheless shares its anticipation that the new investor partnership, agreed upon following extensive negotiations, will lead to a “clear course of growth for the company and the Tianli brand”.
Starting small, European Agriculture Tyre Distributors B.V. aims to build up sales of the Tianli agricultural tyre range in Europe. The Netherlands-based wholesaler has set itself a target to sell 20,000 of these tyres this year, and reports being almost half way there by the end of June.
In response to its recent participation in the Agritechnica in Germany a week or so ago, HBI Bandenmarkt Tyres & Wheels has highlighted that both the show in particular and the agricultural industry in general is increasingly taking on a global dimension.
Kings Road Tyres has adapted its brand strategy to meet customer needs in 2013, saying the key to success in demanding market conditions is to meet the changing needs of trade customers. With this in mind, the wholesaler has recently launched new distribution deals with Chinese OTR manufacturer Tianli, and with Luxembourg-based construction and industrial pneumatic tyre supplier, Maxam.
Based near the port of Rotterdam, industrial tyre wholesaler Bandengroothandel Mast is garnering a reputation as a market leading specialist in this particular sector. The family owned, independent company has continued to expand its trading horizons over a number of years, and today it can report that a full range of industrial tyres is available within its CargoMaster and LiftGuard private brands. The products included in these two brands include solid, pneumatic, skid steer, extra heavy duty pneumatic skid steer and forklift tyres.
During the past couple of years, however, Mast has also developed a growing sales market in the larger, heavy industrial tyre sector, supplying items such as harbour, quarry and mining tyres. The company now considers itself to be a leading option to consider when it comes to purchasing all types of robust tyres used in harbour and quarry work.
