TMD Friction UK has introduced two new brake disc references to its Textar brand product range. The new premium brake discs now available include 92345203 for VW Multivan T7 (2021-) and 92346103, for Toyota Aygo X (2022-) models.
Braking specialist TMD Friction UK has introduced 16 brake pad and disc references to its premium Textar branded product ranges. The new brake pad references cover popular vehicle makes, including Audi, Brabus, Fiat, Genesis, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche, with new pad reference 2468101 fitting a comprehensive range of Mercedes-Benz cars, and reference 2920006 covering various Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles.
TMD Friction UK’s Textar brake brand delivered 167 new references throughout 2022. Of the 167 new products launched, 61 were newly developed, high-end brake pads, with 42 ABS sensors, 36 brake discs, 18 wear leads, six accessories and four new brake fluid products also introduced to Textar’s high-quality product lines.
Newell & Wright Motorsport driver John Newell raced through the grid at the first British Truck Racing Association (BTRA) weekend at Donington, with Textar brakes proving the difference. Textar braking enables Newell to brake later and stop quicker than other drivers, and this point was more than proven as Newell made up places in every Sunday race, culminating in a first-place finish in the final race.
