Techking Tires reports the launch of a new mixed service pattern it developed based on input from partners in Australia and Latin America. The TKAM C+, 11R22.5 has been designed for mix road service and uses what Techking calls its ‘Noise Buffer’ design which, as the name suggests, is said to reduce noise. It also features a ‘Stone Shy’ design to prevent stone retention, the tyre maker adds.
Techking has introduced its first tubeless mining tyre. The Chinese manufacturer says it has released a size 12.00R24 mining pattern; advantages it reports over comparable tube-type tyres are higher air retention from the high-grade butyl liner compared with that of an inner tube, less heat generation and better heat release, a lighter overall weight and more convenient mounting and dismounting.
Techking has announced an “upgrade” to one of its on- and off-road patterns; its ETFN 12.00R24 truck tyres have been developed into the new ETFN U, thanks to feedback from one of the company’s Middle East partners, Techking says. Features upgraded on ETFN U include: a 15 per cent thicker bead section; a 30 per cent increase in bead wire; a super-stiff design; and the company’s “MEDI” formula tread compound, which mixes cut and heat resistance.
China tyre manufacturer Techking reports that it is successfully supplying a customer in Japan in conjunction with a local partner. Together the two companies have reportedly supplied the unnamed Japanese customer with Techking 16.00 R25 ETADT tyres, complete with service support.
Techking’s Turkish passenger car tyre distribution partner has launched a local website promoting the Effiplus brand effipluslastikleri.com is seen as key marketing know-how in the company’s plans to the Effiplus brands.
Techking Tires reports its first-ever batch of all-steel multipurpose tyres has passed all pre-release inspections and is now available. This first MPT product from Techking is called the ETMPT 1 and is available in sizes 405/70R20, 335/80R20 and 365/80R20. The Chinese tyre maker says the ETMPT 1 features a non-directional tread pattern that makes it suitable for use on loaders, graders, multipurpose trucks or backhoe loaders. The tread features Techking’s “horn” groove design, which the manufacturer says facilitates self-cleaning and heat release in the shoulder area.
Tyresure has passenger car and trailer TPMS systems on the market already; now the system manufacturer is introducing its new unit for use on trucks and buses. The system can handle up to four tyres per axle and up to six axles, allowing 24 separate pressures and temperatures to be monitored and relayed back to the driver with fully automatic alerts. Tyresure UK managing director Ian Smith commented: “In the current financial climate, this is something all operators can opt for, with minimal outlay, to significantly reduce their costs and improved their HSE procedures.
Techking has launched what it calls a new economic entry level TPMS for truck tyres. Compared with the previous version, the new TPMS, TBR‐03, reportedly has the following advantages: 20 per cent cost saving over previous version (for 10 tyre trucks); upgraded monitor kit, holder for easier installation and “much better” data collecting capacity. According to the company, the platform of Techking TPMS is OE approved, having passed the SAE test in US.
Techking’s 4KLIFT-D 8.25-15 industrial tyre is now fitted on the Atlas Copco drill rig K41. The 4KLFT-D is a reinforced pattern for extremely heavy loads and high stability requirement.
Tyre manufacturer Techking reports that the first batch of its Ice King winter tyres with studs comes out at the end of July. The product is designed for use in north Europe, Russia and Canada markets, where snow is heavy. According to the company, the pattern was designed based on the feedback from the local partners and some market study by Effiplus engineers.
Techking has launched three new OTR and truck tyre products, the ETSA 14.00 R20 and two ETME 14.00 R20 applications. The ETMT 14.00R20 and ETSA 14.00R20 are designed for desert and sand road condition. The two applications can be distinguished by the labels ETME B and ETMT J, which are upgraded versions of tyres launched back in 2008.
Chinese tyre manufacturers Techking has announced that its Effiplus passenger car tyres recently received Nom accreditation (the national Mexican Safety Certificate).
CITExpo, the Shanghai tyre and trade and industry exhibition, has announced the dates for its 2011 show. The ninth edition of CITEXPO will be held in the same venue – Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center – from 7-9 September 2011.
Techking reports that the company passed a DNV (DET NORSKE VERITAS) audit for ISO9001 certificate in July 2010, after a 6 month examination and auditing procedure. "The pass of the ISO program at Techking is a credit to the dedicated employees who strive to meet customer needs through providing innovative solutions. All the efforts like this can make us outstanding from the competition," said Rongsheng Sheng, president of Techking.
