Toyo Tires begins multi-year KPMG Women’s PGA sponsorship

Under a new agreement valid through to 2027, Toyo Tires becomes the official tyre partner of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, one of five major tournaments on the Ladies Professional Golf Association of America (LPGA) Tour. This engagement will give Toyo Tires prominent branding exposure at the venue and through television commercials in the USA. In addition, more than 170 countries will broadcast the Championship, including Sky Sports in the UK.

Rugby league – Kumho partners with Bulldogs in Australia

Sydney-based rugby league club Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs has named Kumho Tyre its Official NRL Men’s Head Coach Partner and Official Tyre Partner. The two-year partnership will not only see the Kumho Tyre logo adorned on NRL Head Coach Cameron Ciraldo’s gameday attire but also engage with the Bulldogs’ community through the Game Changers Road Safety Program, with a focus on educating students on the importance of road safety.

GT Radial partners Grevenbroich ADAC Driving Safety Center

GT Radial has become the Official Tyre Partner of the ADAC Driving Safety Center in Grevenbroich. The facility is ADAC’s largest and most modern in North Rhine-Westphalia. Rugby sponsorship – Kumho Tire partners with Stade Toulousain

Kumho Tire has expanded its sports sponsorship activities in Europe by signing up as a premium sponsor of French rugby club Stade Toulousain. The South Korean tyre maker has committed itself for a three-and-a-half-year period, from the 2024-2025 to the 2027-2028 seasons. Under the sponsorship deal, player kits will feature the Kumho logo, and it will also appear on LED screen boards during matches at home stadium Stade Ernest-Wallon, on the team’s website as well as social media channels. Additionally, Kumho will work with Stade Toulousain to organise joint events and conduct promotional activities.

BKT becomes Official Tire of Six Nations Rugby

Six Nations Rugby and BKT have agreed upon a new long-term partnership that will see the off-highway tyre specialist support international men’s and women’s rugby. Starting with the Championships commencing at the end of this month, the tyre maker becomes the Official Tire Partner of Six Nations Rugby, a remit covering the Guinness Men’s Six Nations and Guinness Women’s Six Nations.

Pirelli signs multi-year partnership with the Australian Open

From this year, Pirelli will be the Official Tyre Partner of the Australian Open, which will start on Sunday 12 January in Melbourne. The Italian brand thus fills a tyre-shaped hole left by the departure of Maxxis, official tyre for several years last decade. Pirelli is also in good company, with the Dunlop brand continuing as Official Ball Partner, a status it has held since 2019.
