Servicesure, the national garage network, is extending a 10 per cent discount to members of the Confederation of British Surgery (CBS) and their families at participating Servicesure Autocentres.
Servicesure, the national garage network of The Parts Alliance, had reason to celebrate this New Year thanks to its partnership with darts champion Peter ‘Snakebite’ Wright. The 49-year old Scottish darts player won the 2020 PDC World Darts Championship on New Year’s Day.
Servicesure has begun its search for 2020’s ‘Autocentre of the Year’, after last year’s winner heralded the prize as “a superb achievement”. MM Auto Services, based in Dundee, took home the 2019 trophy back in April, in addition to the ‘Winner for Scotland’ award. Upon receiving the main prize, managing director Murdo MacIntosh took the time to praise both his staff for their dedication and his customers for their loyalty, as well as thanking Dingbro for the company’s continued support.
With battery related faults the most common cause of breakdowns, Servicesure’s ‘Batterysure’ initiative with Yuasa aims to teach garages the three ‘Rs’ of battery health. All garages that sign up to Battery Sure and become an official Battery Testing Station will be able to advise its customers if they can ‘Relax’, as their battery is in a good state of health, if they should ‘Recharge’ a low battery, or if it’s time to ‘Replace’ due to high risk of failure.
Servicesure has appointed Bollington as its insurance provider, supplying an exclusive comprehensive cover package for the national garage network.
The partnership commenced on Monday 1 April, with Bollington’s team of local account managers providing a carefully-tailored, personal service which establishes each business’ individual insurance requirements.

The opportunity to win the ‘trip of lifetime’ was available from June until the end of November and was open to anyone, drawing thousands of hopeful entrants. In the end Thomas Docking from Manchester entered via the Servicesure Facebook page to scoop the prize.

The debut 2018 event drew tremendous interest from the garage network and the plan is to hold a ‘bigger and better’ dinner and awards ceremony in April 2019, with the winner being announced live on the night. Shortlisted garages will once again all be invited to attend.
Manor Motor Company has become Servicesure garage network’s 500th member. The announcement comes after Daniels Vehicle Services became the 100th garage to join this year back in September.

The Parts Alliance Garage programme Servicesure has yet another award winner J R Auto Services. They took home the prestigious ‘Best Tradesmen’ award at the Perth and Kinross regional ceremony in this year’s Scotlands Business Awards, held at the Huntingtower Hotel, Perth on 12 November.
The Parts Alliance says their second major braking promotion of 2017, developed in conjunction with Delphi, has now found all of its main winners.
‘Best of Brakes’ ran throughout September and October, offering six spectacular holidays, alongside 25,000 smaller prizes via scratch cards, included with Delphi brake pads.
The holiday cards were found by Graham Clark of Anderson Clark Motor Repairs in Inverness. The longstanding customer of Dingbro Inverness will be heading to Australia, whilst East Kilbride branch customer Alan Knox of Knox Brothers will jet out to Canada.
