Cooper has become the official tyre supplier to the French Rallycross Championship, a nine-round series, including traditional rallycross venues such as Dreux, Essay-Ducs, Lessay and Kerlabo. Cooper branding will be displayed prominently on cars, trackside and around the paddock.
In its role as the official tyre supplier and associate partner to the FIA World Rallycross Championship, Cooper Tire Europe will supply bespoke World RX tyres to all teams for the sixth consecutive season. This year’s World RX calendar consists of 11 rounds, taking the spectacle of World Rallycross all over Europe, but also into Canada, South Africa and the UAE.
Cooper Tire Europe has become the presenting sponsor to the RallyX on Ice Festival. The festival takes place over three rounds between 18 and 23 March 2019 in Åre, Sweden. The championship will be known as “RallyX on Ice presented by Cooper Tires”.
Oliver Solberg has become 2018 RallyX Nordic Supercar champion after resisting pressure from his title rivals to prevail in fine winning style at the Tierp Arena. Solberg completed victory on Cooper tyres; the manufacturer was also headline sponsor for the event.
Cooper Tire unveiled the new Discoverer AT3 family of tyres at The Tire Cologne early this summer. The line, which includes three distinct all-season, all-terrain tyres features Cooper’s first ever all-season 4×4 product – the Discoverer AT34S.
RallyX Nordic has a new title sponsor, and will henceforth be known as RallyX Nordic presented by Cooper Tires. Cooper Tire’s involvement in rallycross as official tyre supplier and sponsor of the FIA World Rallycross Championship over the past four years is helping it to improve its European exposure as a supplier of high performance tyres, the manufacturer states. It describes the expertise it gains from the series as a critical part of its ability to produce tyres that can be pushed to the toughest of limits, but the growing popularity of the series, including dedicated coverage up 550 per cent compared to 2013 and reaching younger audiences via mixed media coverage, also provides a hotbed for Cooper to display its performance credentials to new audiences across the globe.
Cooper Tire Europe launched a limited edition Cooper Zeon CS8 ahead of the Cooper Tires World RX of Great Britain at Silverstone. As the official tyre supplier and associate partner to World RX, Cooper was also the title sponsor of the new Silverstone round. The Northamptonshire track hosted World RX as part of the Speedmachine festival on 25-27 May.
In addition to serving as title sponsor to the World RX of Great Britain and supplying tyres to all World RX teams, Cooper Tire Europe has been confirmed as presenting sponsor to the RX2 International Series. This is the second consecutive year the tyre maker has acted in this capacity.
The first international rallycross event to be held at the Silverstone Circuit has gained a headline sponsor, and it is Cooper Tires. The event will henceforth be officially known as the Cooper Tires World RX of Great Britain.

Johan Kristoffersson has sealed the Cooper tyres supplied 2017 FIA World Rallycross championship with two rounds of the series still to go. The PSRX Volkswagen Sweden driver scored his fifth consecutive event win at the last round in Riga, Latvia to seal the title. The result was also the Volkswagen Polo GTi driver’s ninth podium finish in a row.
Cooper Tire 4×4 ambassador and 27-time Dakar Rally entrant, Xavi Foj, has become one of only six competitors to be honoured with Dakar Legend status. During his Dakar Rally career, Foj has secured two victories, nine podium finishes and has an impressive run of 13 consecutive finishes to his name.
