The Toyota programme has been extremely successful since its launch less than a year ago and now Toyota has decided to use Trico blades for the Lexus brand. Trico was awarded the business by the Japanese automotive manufacturer after impressing with the quality of design and manufacture of its hybrid range.
Trico has redesigned the packaging of its Force, Flex, Neoform and Ice ranges. Brought about in response to customer feedback the revamp has resulted in shallower packaging that enables garages, factors or retailers to increase the number of wiper blades that can be hung on a display unit.
Trico will be presenting Epic Accessories with a Peugeot van at the A1 Spring Trade Show, after having successfully exceeded their target during the three-month wiper blade promotion following A1’s Convention last year.
Trico has updated its image bank with precise product shots of its complete rear blade programme within the Exact Fit range.
To celebrate its centenary, Trico will be giving away a box of Trico beer Brand 17 to the first 10 people to visit its stand on each day and sign up to its mailing list, during Mechanex Sandown. In addition, every other visitor who signs up over the course of the two-day event will go into a prize draw, with the chance to win one of the extra boxes on offer.
Beam blades are the latest technology using a tensioned steel strip, curved to hug the windscreen across the whole blade length. They deliver better performance and the even pressure distribution results in a longer lifespan. Trico beam blades use a sealed design to help protect the blade from exposure to the elements.
Trico has made Redditch United midfielder Arjun Jung its football ambassador, strengthening the link between the Evo-Stik League’s Southern Premier club and the stadium sponsor. Jung will assist Trico and its guests throughout this season’s campaign, to ensure they receive the full match day experience. In his role, he will also represent Trico during other selected company events.
Windscreen wiper blade developer and supplier Trico has been providing reliable and high quality products to five continents for a century. To mark this centenary, the company will release its own-brand beer – named “Brew 17”. Trico said that alongside a number of new products introduced to celebrate the company’s centenary, the specially brewed beer demonstrates how it continues to break the mould for innovative ideas and initiatives.
Trico will sponsor championship leading team Tockwith Motorsports’ (TMS) Ginetta G50 in the Britcar Endurance/Sprint Championship at Brands Hatch on 29 July. Britcar is an endurance and sprint sports car series, which takes place around the UK’s major race circuits. The 2017 season is made up of eight events during the year. Race distances comprise of a 50-minute sprint race and continues into a 2-hour endurance pursuit at Britain’s major race circuits.
Trico has renewed its agreement with Swedish high performance sport cars manufacturer Koenigsegg to supply original equipment beam blades for all their current models. The philosophy at Koenigsegg is one focused solely on performance.
