Not only is Michelin presenting two new tyre lines at the IAA Transportation show, but it is also sharing news of the latest developments within its retreading portfolio. As Philipp Ostbomk, the tyre maker’s Vice President Sales B2B Europe North told us, the changes apply to both its hot and cold retreading.
Truck tyre retreading is an integral part of Michelin’s sustainable mobility strategy and the company offers numerous solutions in Europe under its Michelin Remix, Laurent and Recamic brands. It has introduced a new long-haul transport tread for drive axle use, the Recamic Line D. Michelin says this addition to its Recamic pre-cure tread range offers up to 15 per cent higher mileage than the previous-generation product, the Recamic XDA2 Energy.
Michelin will travel to Reifen 2016 with a comprehensive product mix representing its full portfolio of brands. Its booth (Hall 3, Stand C20) will contain Kleber and BFGoodrich, as well as retreading products Recamic and Michelin Remix among other Michelin products and services. Michelin states that it will focus its presentation on the high mileage achievable on its products across product segments.
