Automotive consumables supplier and distributor of the TerraClean brand, Randstad, has become a supplier member of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF). Randstad started in 1975 and has grown to become one of the UK’s largest automotive suppliers of parts and consumables such as spark plugs, wiper blades and vehicle bulbs to independent garages throughout the UK.
Randstad has introduced the AJD Tools brand into the UK aftermarket. Through AJD Tools technicians can purchase specific automotive and diagnostic tools. Technicians can also access a large product range from the well-known manufacturer, Hubitools, including inspection devices such as (video) endoscopes, videoscopes or electronical stethoscopes. AJD Tools has been created as a legacy to Randstad founder Anthony (‘Tony’) John Dowd, who sadly passed away at the start of 2021.
Randstad Ltd, authorised distributors of the TerraClean brand, has launched a new TerraClean Engine Treatment, designed to complement its intensive engine decarbonising service. The company states that the new 354ml pour-in product reduces friction and engine wear while increasing power and fuel economy.

The training – which took place at TerraClean service centre, Galltec Automotive, in Cramlington – was provided by Stephen Burr (AAE MIMI IEng MIET) and designed to ensure TerraClean technicians continue to broaden their expertise and competence on modern electric and hybrid vehicles.
2018 British Touring Car Champion Colin Turkington has extended his partnership with Randstad’s engine decarbonising brand TerraClean, which confirmed its ongoing investment in British motorsport at the Autosport International Show. This is the fourth consecutive year that TerraClean has been associated with the reigning champion.

Randstad, via its engine decarbonising brand TerraClean, has extended its partnership with double British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) champion Colin Turkington for the third year running, further strengthening its ties with motorsport.
TerraClean, part of Randstad Ltd, has held a series of one-day training courses for more than 100 garages on the growing opportunities of diesel particulate filters (DPFs). Hosted by TerraClean specialist Gary Wood, the sessions are aimed at supporting independent garages on the effective diagnosis of DPF / EGR related problems and how to solve them using the range of bespoke TerraClean products available.
Randstad has held its annual TerraClean conference, which brought together service centres to network, exchange ideas and opinions and ultimately consult on the brand’s numerous marketing plans in 2018.
The TerraClean network of service centres have come to the aid of Renault Clio Cup racing driver Shayne Deegan of SDR Motorsport, after he suffered a major crash in the series at Donington recently. The side-impact crash resulted in his car being ruled out for the rest of the season – but the engine de-carbonising brand TerraClean has stepped up and got behind the driver, sponsoring him and helping to arrange a new car for the remainder of the series.
