Robert (Bob) Lee will take over as the new president of Continental North America. He succeeds Jeff Klei, who will retire after serving more than 30 years in the industry. Lee will be responsible for leading customer, governmental and other external relationships across the region.
European Tyre Enterprise Limited (ETEL) has appointed Andy Fern as managing director of its Stapleton’s Tyre Services tyre wholesale business.
Fern, who is currently group fleet sales director, replaces Wataru Goroku (‘Go’), who is taking on a new role with ETEL’s parent company Itochu. Go will provide continuity by taking the role of chairman of Stapleton’s during a transition period to ensure a smooth handover.
Hankook Tyre UK has appointed Paul Emery as sales director effective 1 February 2020. He joined the company as UK sales manager of the truck and bus tyre segment. Emery brings over 30 years in the tyre industry in various managerial roles to the position.

Cooper Tire has received a score of 100 per cent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2020 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and has been designated as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality. The CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ equality in the workplace.

ATEQ TPMS Tools has named Agneta Ronceret as EMEA TPMS manager for OEM, truck and industrial sales. Ronceret joined ATEQ TPMS tools division in France in 2015 as sales manager for TPMS tools in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australia/New Zealand.
Hexpol AB (publ.) has appointed Kenneth L. Bloom as new president of Hexpol Compounding Americas. Ken succeeds Tracy Garrison who decided to leave the company in November 2019. The new appointment took effect on 1 January 2020.

In his new role, Patel is responsible for product planning and development, as well as engineering and technology across all regions. This means he leads a technology organization that includes a global technical centre as well as technical centres in Asia, Europe and North America.
