ETB Autocentres has made its depot in Lydney the 52-branch network’s centre of the year in its annual network awards. The network uses the award as a focal point for its ongoing drive to raise standards. The Forest Road centre won the contest judged on sales performance, customer feedback, email collection, and sales campaign uptake. The centre has been part of the network since 2020.
ETB Autocentres has introduced a number of retail deals and initiatives to help motorists in the difficult economic climate. The 43-branch network, with sites in the Midlands, Wales and the South West, is offering free brake pads, Amazon gift vouchers and winter safety kits. It is also conducting daily competitor price checks, as well as offering flexible payment plans, acknowledging that automotive work is often an unexpected expense.
A former fitter who has worked for more than 25 years in a family-run business specialising in exhausts, tyres and batteries has been appointed as a director of the company. Paul Nunn, 43, from Stourport-on-Severn, will sit on the board of directors at Worcester-based ETB (Exhaust, Tyres & Batteries).
