National garage chain Servicesure has crowned Harrogate garage Simon Graeme Auto Service Centre the Autocentre of the Year in its 2020 annual awards. The North Yorkshire business beat stiff competition from a Servicesure network comprising 554 independent garages across England, Scotland and Wales in the third annual Servicesure Autocentre of the Year Awards. The awards celebrate best practice, success and outstanding customer service shown across the Servicesure network. An event would ordinarily be held in person, but awards were delivered individually to this year’s winners in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Servicesure, the national garage network, is extending a 10 per cent discount to members of the Confederation of British Surgery (CBS) and their families at participating Servicesure Autocentres.

Held at The Brewery in London on Monday 11 December, the ceremony recognised the brightest and best businesses and individuals working in a constantly evolving industry. Both Cedar Garage and Anderson Clark Motor Repairs were presented with their awards by former Formula 1 driver, Johnny Herbert.
The Parts Alliance’s South West Garage and Workshop Show has returned for 2017 even ‘bigger and better’. Storm-like conditions failed to deter well over 500 garage owners and mechanics from visiting Sandy Park, home to English Premiership side Exeter Chiefs, on the evening of Thursday 19 October. The event hosted garage customers invited by the nine Parts Alliance branches in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall – including the recently opened Midsomer Norton Branch.

The Parts Alliance has been named CAT magazine’s ‘Factor Chain of the Year’. The Award came on Friday 10 February at an industry awards ceremony at Manchester’s renowned Lowry Hotel. The national trading group was represented by the eight branches in its South West region. They were shortlisted in recognition of a dramatic turnaround in fortunes under The Parts Alliance’s ownership. The branches were all previously part of the Unipart network, but have since been developed with significant investment from The Parts Alliance.
The Parts Alliance’s South West region has been nominated for a national CAT magazine award. There will be a total of six CAT 2017 awards to celebrate leading achievements within the UK aftermarket. The Parts Alliance (South West) has been recognised in a shortlist of only four businesses in contention to be named ‘Factor Chain of the Year’. The Parts Alliance states the nomination comes in recognition of “a real turnaround in fortunes” for a group of eight branches once part of the Unipart network.
