The Maxxis MaxxCross MX-ST+ motocross tyre has been selected again as original equipment for the 2024 range of GASGAS motocross bikes. Meanwhile, the 2024 enduro range including the EC450F and EC500F models will feature Maxxis MaxxEnduro tyres.

TMT Tanks & Trailers, the Italian trailer manufacturer, has selected Apollo Tyres’ EnduRace RT2 tyre as original equipment (OE) for its premium ‘moving floor’ truck trailers. TMT’s moving floor trailers feature specialised loading and unloading systems that allow the unloading of bulk material without the need for tilting mechanisms.

Vipal will supply tyres directly for the production of Honda motorcycles in Brazil. The Honda CG 160 Fan will be the first model to come out with Vipal tyres as original equipment (OE). The new car market grew 28.3 per cent in July with 143,921 new vehicles registered, according to the latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). The Yokohama Rubber Co. The CX-90, which is not being sold in Yokohama’s home Japanese market, is being fitted with 265/55 R19 109V tyres.
The new Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain A/T002 offers “improved adaptation and reaction over different types of terrain, excellent wet and dry grip, and improved mileage” based on internal benchmarks comparing the new tyre with its predecessor, the Dueler A/T001 in 265/65 R17. Specifically, that means 40 per cent better mileage compared with the Dueler A/T001, due to the tyre’s maximised footprint width and optimised contact patch.
Pirelli has been honoured as a winner at the prestigious Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Supplier of Excellence Awards. The ceremony, held in the UK at The Grove in Hertfordshire and hosted by television personality Gabby Logan, took place for the seventh year to celebrate the exceptional achievements of suppliers and their extraordinary contribution to JLR’s business over the course of the last year.
In 2022, Linglong Tire’s revenue was 17 billion yuan (approximately £1.94 billion; €2.24 billion). Within that, Linglong achieved a revenue of 16.73 billion yuan (about £1.91 billion; €2.2 billion) specifically from tyres. Linglong balanced its domestic and overseas businesses but the revenue brought in by domestic trade was slightly higher. The company’s tyre sales in China reached 8.55 billion yuan, and its export and overseas sales reached 8.18 billion yuan.
