The organiser of the North American Tire & Retread Expo (NATRE) concedes that last month’s event in New Orleans did not meet expectations. As a result, NATRE will not return in its current format, and the next scheduled show has been postponed while the concept is reconsidered.
The North American Tire & Retread Expo is being held in New Orleans from 19 to 21 April. An education conference is being held alongside the exhibition in the mornings and the organisers have just revealed the programme schedule.
The North American Tire & Retread Expo will include its first annual Tire Recycling World exhibit in its 2016 show. Taking place 19-21 April at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, the three-day expo brings together a wide variety of tyre and retread industry professionals for networking, buying, and selling opportunities.
The North American Tire & Retread Expo will add a tyre recycling section – “Tire Recycling World” – on a permanent basis from the 2016 edition of the show. The centrepiece of the North American Tire & Retread Expo was the inaugural Miss Retread Truck Tire Contest, won by Industrias Del Neumaticos of Alicante, Spain. The winning company was awarded $5,000 along with a trophy. 22 retread tires were entered in the contest.
The 2015 North American Tire & Retread Expo was held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans between 15 and 17 April, 2015. Featuring 112 tyre, tyre retread, and tyre equipment and repair companies, the show attracted 1,041 registered visitors.
