CMA recalls certain Bluestar brand truck tyres
International News, Product NewsIn the US China Manufacturers Alliance, LLC (CMA) has announced that it is recalling certain Bluestar LQ225 size 8-14.5 low platform trailer tyres manufactured. According to a recall notice published by the US government authority responsible for such matters, NHTSA, the affected tyres were produced between 24 February 2013, and 9 August 2014.
TPMS learn issue leads to Chrysler recall in the US
International News, Product NewsCrysler Group LLC is recalling 21,042 2014-model year Ram ProMaster vehicles in the US due to a Tyre Press Monitoring System (TPMS) fault. The problem is that in the affected vehicles, the TPMS may fail to learn the locations of the individual sensors while the vehicle is being driven. As a result, the low tyre pressure warning light will light-up irrespective of the tyre pressure.
Small-scale Cooper Tire recall begins
International NewsSome 388 Cooper Wild Country Radial XTX Sport tyres are being recalled in the US. A National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notice states that the recall affects certain size 265/65R18 tyres that were manufactured between 1 June 2014 and 28 June 2014 (weeks 2214-2514). The affected tyres may experience cracking or broken ply cords in the lower sidewall on the white sidewall side, which may lead to a sudden loss of pressure.
