Nexen Tire has entered into a three-year partnership as exclusive tyre for the Anaheim Ducks, the California-based ice hockey club founded in 1993 as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. The exclusive tyre arrangement also covers Honda Center, the Ducks’ home stadium.
A ceremony was held at Nexen Tire’s R&D centre in Seoul yesterday to mark the official debut of the N’Fera Racing Team. Several of the South Korean tyre maker’s top executives attended the event, including chief executive officer Travis (Ho-chan) Kang, as well as Hwang Doyun, the team’s first driver.
AC Milan and Nexen Tire have announced a new partnership that will see the South Korean brand become the football club’s new tyre partner in the Italian market. The announcement follows a positive season for the ‘Rossoneri’, which saw AC Milan secure a second-place finish in the top-flight Serie A championship and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
The EV6 is Kia’s first dedicated electric vehicle. Based on Hyundai Motor Group’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV6 offers a range of up to 316 miles and rapid charging – when using the State of Charge (SOC) mode, the car can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes. Porsche will unveil the facelifted 2021 Panamera in August, and Nexen Tire reports its supply of original equipment tyres to this updated second-generation saloon. The new version of the Panamera will wear the Nexen N’Fera Sport in sizes 265/45 R19 105Y XL and 295/40 R19 108Y XL.
Nexen Tire will raise prices across its entire product range on 1 August 2021. The global tyre manufacturer said the increases are due to “significantly increased raw material prices as well as freight and logistics costs.” The increase affects prices for all company brands in the replacement market, including summer, winter and all-season tyre product lines on the European market, including UK and Russia.

Nexen Tire shares that it began shipping tyres to Hyundai for original equipment fitment on the fourth-generation Tucson in January. Hyundai Tucson models sold in the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America wear the Nexen N’Fera Primus in sizes 215/65R17, 235/55R18, and 235/50R19. This deal represents the first occasion that Nexen’s European manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic has supplied OE tyres.
