The Vredestein tyre range has been expanded in response to fast-rising demand for modern classic cars. The first tyre will be launched in September and is designed for the original Audi Quattro. The tyre’s development was assisted by none other than former Formula One champion and Vredestein ambassador Jochen Mass.
Following the agreement signed last year, Vredestein is again the official tyre partner and main sponsor of the world-renowned Mille Miglia (1000 Miglia) rally currently taking place in Italy. The event has in turn provided the backdrop for the announcement of a new partnership between Vredestein and former Formula One racer Jochen Mass.
Modern classics such as the Saab 900, Ford Granada and Audi 80 are rising in popularity, and many devotees of these cars strive to maintain them as true to original condition as possible. This, says Delticom portal Yourtyres.co.uk, represents an opportunity for tyre dealers and workshops.
