Milltek launches Fiesta ST 1.6 EcoBoost exhaust

Milltek has released a new range of exhaust options for the tuner’s latest favourite; the Ford Fiesta 1.6 EcoBoost. Indeed, Milltek was one of the first tuners in the UK to gain access to the latest Fiesta upon its launch, working with the UK’s leading tuners. That fact, combined with the company’s knowledge of all Ford powerplants, has reportedly paid dividends. The result? The design of the ST exhaust is said to offer power and torque gains, with a thoroughly ‘grown-up’ soundtrack.

Milltek launches Focus ST250 exhaust

Milltek has launched a new Ford Focus ST250 exhaust system, which according to the company, is fruit of the exhaust maker’s motorsport relationship with BTCC. As a supplier to the Motorbase BTCC team, and the Airwaves Racing and Crabbies Ford Focus racecars, it’s fair to say that Milltek Sport has experience in getting the best out of Ford’s capable hot-hatch. Indeed Milltek was one of the first tuners in the UK to gain access to the Focus upon its launch, adding one to its development fleet.

Toyo backs Isuzu UK works rally team

Toyo Tires will be the technical partner to Isuzu UK for the pick-up truck manufacturer’s team in the Britpart MSA British Cross Country Championship (BCCC) 2014. The deal means the Japanese manufacturer’s motorsport team will supply the Isuzu UK rally team with tyres all season, as well as advising on set-up and usage.

Milltek searches for VW Cup driver at Autosport International

Milltek will offer a talented race driver a fully supported drive in its VW Cup Golf for the 2014 season, the exhaust manufacturer has revealed. Launching the search at the 2014 Autosport show between 9 and 12 January, Milltek will host a test day in February, having teamed up with long-term technical partners KPM to create a vehicle to compete in the APR VW Cup, based on the company’s previously successful Golf Time Attack car.

Milltek’s M135i (F20) performance exhaust system

Milltek has released details of its new performance exhaust system for the new BMW M135i. The latest F20 chassis car features BMW’s twin scroll turbo engine, which Milltek says suits its extraction technology and craftsmanship. Initially launched as a cat-back only set-up, Milltek will provide the additional option of a turbo-back system, complete with large bore downpipe and high-flow cat configurations.

Milltek Releases Audi RS4 B8 4.2 V8 exhaust

Milltek has released a new exhaust for the B8 RS4. Milltek’s engineers report that they were keen to maintain the all-round character and usability of the RS4, whilst injecting a little more drama – and power – into proceedings. Two systems will be made available upon launch; a primary cat back, with full EC homologation and approval for those looking to keep things ‘OEM+’ and a wonderfully toned non-resonated system that offers a perfectly pitched rasp and growl, but without the in-cabin resonance and droning of lesser systems.

Milltek Sport releases 2011 Skoda Fabia Exhaust System

Exhaust manufacturer Milltek Sport has released a new turbo back exhaust system for all models of the 1.4 TSi Skoda Fabia vRS. Manufactured in the UK, the system is hand-finished from aerospace grade, non-magnetic T304 stainless steel, making it lighter than the factory system.

23 Entries Confirmed for BTCC in 2010

On March 31, the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship officially confirmed that 23 cars are lined up to compete in the 2010 season. Despite the current economic climate, this is more than was announced at the start of 2009, and this year’s contingent includes a number of new teams, drivers, models of cars and big name sponsors. In total, seven different manufacturers, with nine different models, are represented on the grid, namely: BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, SEAT, Vauxhall and Volkswagen.

UK Tuner Grand Prix

The Tuner Grand Prix is making its debut in the UK this September, in association with Vauxhall VXR and Milltek Sport. The event is being hailed as a chance to see the UK and Europe’s tuning companies show what they do best – make the fastest cars money can buy.
Castle Donington will host the race, which will see tuning companies competing for the title of Winner UK Tuner Grand Prix.

There are different classes and an overall unlimited class so that every vehicle type has the opportunity to win a title and trophy, explains John Thorne of Milltek Sport, co-sponsor of the event.

“If you’re involved in modifying cars you have to be there to show the World what you can do, the Trade Village will be at the centre of the event in the Paddock area and is selling out fast and if you’re into tuned motors then there will no greater event of the year than the Milltek Sport UK Tuner Grand Prix,” says the company.
