Competing against top global tyre brands, Maxxis states that the “result demonstrates how motorists can obtain all the hallmarks of premium tyre performance without the inflated price tag.” The Premitra HP5 came fourth overall in Auto Zeitung’s test.
Maxxis describes itself as one of the top three manufacturers of quality tyres for the amenity market, including agricultural applications, such as specialist turf tyres, 4×4, ATV and high-speed trailer products.
Maxxis-sponsored riders across motorsport experienced success on the tyre manufacturers’ high performance tyres. Leading the way on two wheels for Maxxis was enduro athlete Brad Freeman. The British rider secured his first ever senior world title in the Maxxis FIM EnduroGP World Championship, riding to victory in the E1 class using the soft compound version of the MaxxEnduro and MaxxEnduPro tyres.
Maxxis-supported rally driver Pat Naylor achieved back-to-back victories at the Trackrod Rally, Yorkshire. His first in class finish highlighted the synergy between car, driver and Maxxis’ R19 tyre, finishing the season in style.

The largest UK tyre wholesaler, Stapleton’s has long acknowledged the SUV/4×4 sector’s ability to transcend other segments with steady upward performance against a particularly volatile background.
