Established in 1986, the Manchester-based company specialises in top-quality motor accessories for personal, leisure and professional use and has become a well-known name in the automotive sector.
Schaeffler has announced the date of its next Repxpert Academy Live roadshow, which will take place at Tameside College Ashton-under-Lyne on Saturday 21 October 2023. Due to the popularity of these events, professional technicians and garage owners in Greater Manchester and the surrounding area are being encouraged to register as soon as possible. The Tameside event will follow the usual Repxpert Academy Live format, with attendees being welcomed from 9am for breakfast and registration, and training sessions starting at 10am until around 4pm. Almost 40 per cent of cars in the UK are running on at least one tyre that is “dangerously” or “very dangerously” underinflated.
The figures come after Michelin and Kwik Fit inspected more than 500 vehicles in Tesco car parks around the UK.
Michelin classifies tyres that are between 7psi and 14psi below the manufacturer’s recommendation as “dangerously underinflated”, while 14 psi or more underinflation is deemed to be “very dangerous.”
