Maha UK managing director, Neil Ebbs, along with Luke Fuller and Louis Tunmore, are heading to Frankfurt for the Automechanika trade fair, which runs 10-14 September 2024. The trio are encouraging customers and organisations from the UK to join them at “Maha’s impactful stands…”.
MAHA UK has named James Thompson as the company’s newest regional sales executive. Thomspson will be responsible for expanding MAHA UK’s presence in northern regions of the UK, nurturing relationships with both existing and potential clients, and promoting MAHA UK’s premium products and services.
David Drinkwater won his fifth consecutive 750 Motor Club Hot Hatch championship title. Drinkwater asserted his dominance on the series by winning nine wins out of the 14 races entered, overcoming the challenge of carrying 45kg of ballast throughout the season. Drinkwater is supported by MAHA UK, whose dynamometer expert, Louis Tunmore, was the architect behind the championship-winning car, and TWG Automotive owner and BMW specialist, Will Gibson.
Maha UK will showcase its workshop equipment at the brand-new Road Transport Expo show, taking place at NAEC Stoneleigh between 30 June and 2 July.
According to the company, “with heavy goods vehicles at the heart of the exhibition, it’s the perfect arena for Maha UK to highlight its pedigree to visitors, in particular, it’s DVSA specification MBT 7250 Eurosystem roller brake tester.”
MAHA UK has launched a LinkedIn page and subsequent advertising campaign to complement the brand’s Facebook page, which has reportedly been “an excellent tool to generate new leads and sales, as well as sharing updates from equipment installations and news from within the UK and other MAHA subsidiaries around the world”. Indeed, MAHA UK has pledged to not just increase its visibility online, but to provide followers with “valuable and exciting material”.
Maha UK’s Luke Fuller joined the company during 2020, right in the midst of the pandemic, but he didn’t let the ‘stay at home’ rule affect his confidence or ability to build a rapport with customers. Now back out on the road, he’s keen to make up for lost time.
Despite some businesses being forced to lock their doors, garage equipment and testing equipment supplier MAHA remained open in-line with lockdown rules and while admitting the early stages of the pandemic caused uncertainty, the managing director of the UK subsidiary of the German-based company, Neil Ebbs, said trading figures had “exceeded expectations”.
MAHA Ireland Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the German company MAHA Maschinenbau Haldenwang GmbH & Co. KG, supplied the lifts at the centre of the crisis that brought all Northern Irish MOTs to a standstill on 27 January 2020 and subsequently spread to the Republic of Ireland.
Julian Woods, of Snap-on UK, has been appointed as president of the Garage Equipment Association (GEA), at the association’s recent AGM, which was held at the GEA offices in Daventry on 14 April 2016.
