Trelleborg Wheel Systems has opened a new showroom that won’t be troubled by lockdowns or other unexpected disruptions. The new Trelleborg virtual showroom enables visitors to “enter the world of Trelleborg tyres to explore its products and smart solutions up close, at any time and in any place.”
New Holland Agriculture has selected the PneuTrac from Trelleborg Wheel Systems as a fitment for its new T4 tractor range. The tyres can be specified for New Holland T4 N/F/LP models in sizes VF480/65R28 and VF280/70R18.
Trelleborg Wheel Systems has introduced its newest tyre range and systems to enhance productivity in critical OTR applications. The manufacturer’s EMR, Earthmover Radial Series, was displayed at BAUMA in two sizes: 29.5R25 EMR 1030 and 17.5R25 EMR 1025. The range is designed to perform and to enhance productivity in construction applications, increasing both damage protection and durability. Its multi-surface tread design provides control and perfect grip on sand, rock, gravel or soil. It joined the multipurpose bias tyre, the MPX TB construction pneumatic designed for telehandler and compact loader applications in the most demanding environments.
Visitors to this year’s Bauma construction and mining machinery trade fair are amongst the first to see Phoenix TPMS, a new cloud-based system for construction tyres from Trelleborg Wheel Systems. Trelleborg claims its Phoenix TPMS will “enhance productivity in critical applications and to make the operator’s life easier in the most demanding environments.”
A new app from Trelleborg will be introduced at the EIMA show in Bologna next month. The Trelleborg TLC Plus app is a sensor-based check-up system that measures the potential difference in tyre pressure between the optimum pressure and actual inflation pressure and relays this information wireless to the farmer’s mobile device or computer.
ConnecTire, Trelleborg’s solution for Smart Farming, has been recognised at the FIMA Agricola 2018 technical innovation awards in the category Tractors and self-propelled machines and energy’.
We first encountered PneuTrac at the Agritechnica show four years ago. Back then, Mitas described the combined track and tyre concept as a “revolution” in tyre design, however a spokesperson admitted there was still “some way to go” until a commercial product came to market. Since then we’ve gone some way, and Trelleborg, which acquired Mitas last year, has now announced the launch of a market-ready PneuTrac product.
Trelleborg Group tyre manufacturer Mitas has launched a new advertising campaign emphasising the needs of farmers for quality equipment they can rely on. It highlights the various types of machinery and applications, terrains and locations, and weather conditions and terrains encountered by agricultural professionals. Mitas’ campaign, showing how reliable tyres can help farmers to improve the overall effectiveness of farming, will be presented during the SIMA show in Paris from 26 February to 2 March (Stand C060, Hall 7).
An additional size is joining the Trelleborg TM3000 range of tyres for spreader applications. The new VF1050/50R32 product will be unveiled at the SIMA 2017 fair in Paris later this month following its debut at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, USA, which begins tomorrow.
The recently-unveiled Massey Ferguson 6718 S is the world’s first 200hp four-cylinder tractor, and Trelleborg has announced that two tyres from its ProgressiveTraction range have been selected as a factory-fitted tyre option for the model.
Trelleborg has been selected as official sponsor and original equipment supplier for all the tractors on show during the Claas Roadshow Event in Turkey. The roadshow started on 26 July and will stop in seven different locations around Turkey to meet approximately 5,000 farming professionals. The second European stop of the Trelleborg 2016 Road Show for agricultural tyres begins today at the Nova Agricoltura exhibition in Italy. As was the case when the company kicked off its tour in Germany last month, Trelleborg will use the event in Bologna to showcase the selecting the optimal tyre inflation pressure for specific farming operations, as recommended using the Trelleborg Load Calculator (TLC).
As well as presenting its latest tyre to feature ProgressiveTraction technology and other agricultural tyre and wheel products, Trelleborg will provide Agritechnica visitors with the opportunity to experience one of its 2015 European Road Show’s many stops.
Trelleborg has launched the third episode in its series of 3D animated movies. Designed to appeal to Trelleborg’s agricultural tyre customers and the next generation of farming professionals, the short – titled ‘Space Hops’ – was created using sophisticated 3D animation techniques. In the latest instalment, Trelleborg’s animated cricket character is abducted and finds himself at Trelleborg’s Innovation Space Center. While on board, he assists in the development of the technological features of Trelleborg’s premium radial agricultural tyre. Trelleborg has announced that the first stop on its 2015 European Road Show for agricultural tyres will be Sissa Trecasali in Parma, Italy on June 5. The one-day event will provide two field demonstrations in which two tractors will compete over a 200 metre track, head-to-head.
