LeasePlan has been named Best LCV Lease Provider of 2016 by the Vans A2Z editorial jury, for the fourth year running.The awards category (sponsored by Manheim Remarketing) recognises leasing suppliers who not only demonstrate excellent customer initiatives, provision of cost efficiencies and service excellence, but also those who demonstrate a dedication to customer care and the customer experience.
Goodyear Dunlop will continue as preferred supplier to LeasePlan in Germany after its agreement with the leasing company was renewed for a further three years. Under the terms of the extended deal, Goodyear Dunlop Tires Germany will deliver “tens of thousands” of tyres for fitment on cars, predominantly premium models, belonging to the LeasePlan Deutschland fleet.

LeasePlan Corporation N.V is expanding its fleet a record level of 1.5 million vehicles worldwide. LeasePlan is the first fleet management and driver mobility company in the global leasing industry to reach operations of this scale, a landmark confirming its global market leadership. Across the 32 countries where LeasePlan operates, its worldwide fleet has recently surpassed the 1.5 million mark compared to 1.3 million vehicles in 2010. This is an 8 per cent year on year increase in the number of vehicles under LeasePlan management, which numbered 1.40 million at end-September 2014.
National Tyres and Autocare has confirmed that LeasePlan, the largest vehicle management group in the world and part of the LeasePlan Corporation NV Group, has named the tyre retail company as one of its preferred Tyre Supplier for 2016 and 2017. ATS Euromaster and Fleet Tyre Network (FTN) are the other two 2016 and 2017 preferred suppliers. Kwik Fit was the previous encumbant.
Earlier this year (at the end of July), LeasePlan Corporation N.V. changed ownership and announced that it had been informed by its previous 100 per cent shareholder (Global Mobility Holding B.V. – a joint venture of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft and Fleet Investments B.V.) that it had reached an agreement with a consortium of long-term investors to acquire full ownership of LeasePlan in a 3.7 billion euro deal.
Vehicle leasing giant LeasePlan has appointed ATS Euromaster, National Tyres & Autocare and Fleet Tyre Network (FTN) as its tyre fitment partner in favour of previous incumbent Kwik-Fit.
