Launch UK to distribute Smoke Wizard leak detector
Launch UK has become the approved lead distributor of Global Leak Detection’s Smoke Wizard, a diagnostic smoke machine used by OEMs such as AMG, Audi, KIA, Mazda, Porsche, Volkswagen, and Jaguar Land Rover. There are two models available in the aftermarket – the GLD-40 and the GLD-50 Smoke Wizards.

Launch UK has released a new Android-based diagnostic tool. The touch-screen X431 Euro Pad II uses the same vehicle diagnostic software as previous Launch X431 scan tools, but also features improved multi-manufacturer vehicle coverage, powerful special functions, accurate and ultra-fast live data and graphing, along with module coding capacities.
Italian launch for Kumho Flagship Store programme
Following the rollout of similar facilities in South Korea, the US, Australia and the UK, Kumho Tire opened its first ‘Kumho Flagship Store’ in Italy on 20 March. As in the other markets, the Italian flagship centre scheme aims to reward and help dealers who focus on the Kumho brand. The first facility, at the Pneus2000 centre in Offanengo, Cremona province, was selected from within the tyre maker’s Kumho Platinum Club network in Italy and will be followed in the near future by other centres in main cities throughout the country.

Bernie Fineman of Channel Five’s Classic Car Rescue recent said investment in diagnostic tools is essential to the survival of independent garages in the automotive aftermarket.
