FC Barcelona ad Lassa Tyres have signed a sponsorship deal which makes the Turkish tyre brand a global partner for the next four years. Under the global partnership rights, the club’s basketball, handball, futsal and roller hockey teams, will officially be named as “FC Barcelona Lassa”. The deal took effect on 1 June 2015 and makes Lassa Tyres the “Official Tyre Partner” of FC Barcelona.
Lassa Tyres, manufactured by Turkish number one tyre producer Brisa, has refreshed its global website. Lassa states the new site aims to give Lassa Tyres’ customers and business partners a fresh look, easy navigation and user-friendly experience.
RH Claydon will exhibit its key truck brands with an increased presence at April’s CV Show. In its 62nd year of trading, the wholesaler states that it has witnessed an expansion of its commercial vehicle tyre business in recent years. Several recently-introduced products were on display at the Lassa stand at this year’s Reifen show. The Turkish tyre brand, produced by Bridgestone/Sabanci joint venture company Brisa, has been extended with the introduction of a new UHP range, Phenomena, and its latest winter line-up, the Snoways 3.
In addition to participating in an advertising arrangement with England’s Premier League, Lassa Tyres has engaged in football sponsorship in Germany for a number of years. The Turkish tyre maker partnered with Borussia Mönchengladbach for the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons, and now it has signed a new agreement with Hamburg-based club HSV. Lassa says it found a partnership with Hamburger SV attractive as the club is one of Germany’s oldest, most famous and successful football teams, and has the unique distinction of having played continuously in the Bundesliga since its foundation.

Lassa Tyres has renewed its advertisement arrangement with England's Premier League for a further one-year period. Under the terms of the partnership, the Lassa Tyres brand will continue to feature on pitch-side LED advertising boards during 21 upcoming Premier League fixtures.
Lassa Tyres presented its latest winter tyre, the Snoways 3 at Autopromotec. In addition Lassa showcased 21 different models, which are marketed and sold in more than 60 countries.
Despite the launch, the main focus of Lassa stand was the flagship Phenoma UHP tyre, which is said to be a popular choice in sport and prestige segment for upper class automobiles and tuning vehicles. The Competus H/P, Impetus REVO and Greenways, Lassa’s eco-friendly passenger tyre line, were also on-show.
This year, Lassa Tyres will once again field the Team Lassa Tyres in the British Drift Championship. The team’s drivers for the 2013 season are Simon Perry and Jody Fletcher in Super Pro-Class and Richard ‘Juddster’ McCourt in Semi Pro-Class; once again, they will compete in all six rounds of the UK’s premier drift championship.
Along with displaying its range at the Geneva motor show for the fifth consecutive year, Turkish tyre brand Lassa has outlined its recent activities. Halit Şensoy, international sales and marketing director of Lassa manufacturer Brisa, shared that last year the tyre maker benefitted from the largest investment in production capacity in the company’s entire history. Brisa’s factory in Izmit, Turkey now has the capacity to produce ten million tyres per annum. The investment, Şensoy added, was made in order to meet growing demand in both local and export markets.
Lassa Tyres reports that it is continuing to increase its exposure amongst football fans and supporters of the English Premier League (EPL) with further sponsorship. This means Lassa will feature on LED advertising boards around the perimeter of the pitch during 19 away games of teams such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal.

Lassa Tyres has extended its partnership agreement with Borussia Mönchengladbach Football Club for the 2012/2013 season, continuing a relationship that began last year. According to the company, Lassa was initially attracted to the partnership with Borussia Mönchengladbach since the club is one of the Germany's best-known, best-supported clubs.
In addition to the latest tyres and related equipment available for purchase now, numerous exhibitors at Reifen 2012 are showing concept and upcoming products. One such company is Turkish brand Lassa, which is displaying its Greenways range. Vicki Tillson, UK branch manager for Lassa manufacturer Brisa, told Tyres & Accessories that the Greenways eco-friendly passenger car tyre line-up is scheduled for release in 2013 and will be available in 20 sizes from 14 to 16-inch rim diameters, 70 to 55 aspect ratio and T and H speed ratings.
