Kumho Tyre UK has voiced its support for the TyreSafe Tyre Safety Month 2024 campaign. The road safety charity’s efforts to promote awareness amongst motorists of the importance of tyre safety through this year’s ‘Caught in the ACT’ campaign are aligned with those of Kumho.
Kumho Tyre UK recently hosted its annual five-a-side football tournament at the Tottenham Hotspur FC training ground, with the event attracting over 40 Kumho key customers and partners, offering a unique blend of networking and exciting competitions.

This year’s money-can’t-buy experience saw eight teams battling for glory at the Club’s Training Centre in Hotspur Way, with players travelling from across the UK and as far afield as the North of Scotland to participate.
Kumho’s recently renewed partnership with Tottenham Hotspur has many benefits – not least the annual five-a-side tournament that the Club lays on for customers. Although the 2020 event was postponed due to Covid-19, this year was a different story, and eight teams, each managed by a Spurs legend, battled it out at the club’s Training Centre at Hotspur Way.
Renault’s new Arkana will exclusively ride on Kumho tyres. Depending on model, the hybrid compact SUV will wear Kumho Ecsta HS51 tyres in sizes 215/60R17 or 215/55R18.
Keon Park is the new managing director at Kumho Tyre UK. He succeeds Myong Joong (Tino) Choi, who returns to Kumho’s headquarters in Korea after heading up the UK operation for the past five years.

Following the news that Micheldever and Kumho Tyre are ending their 15-year distribution relationship, Kumho Tyre (UK) Ltd. (KTUK) has confirmed that the cooperation will end in May 2018. After that date, KTUK will itself be responsible for distributing Kumho branded car, 4×4 and van products in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland).
