Gangseung ‘Tony’ Lee is the new head of Kumho Tire Europe GmbH. The tyre maker’s former senior vice president of global marketing commenced his European remit on 1 October, succeeding Namhwa Cho, who is reportedly taking on the role of president of Kumho Tire USA.
Namwook (NW) Jung was appointed the new managing director of Kumho Tire Europe GmbH in Offenbach am Main on 1 December, 2017, replacing Steve Yeom. He is responsible for the replacement business in Germany, Switzerland and the Benelux.
Kumho Tire Europe has issued a statement regarding Peter Becker’s intention to leave the company. Becker will reportedly part ways with Kumho at his own request this summer; the tyre maker says specific details regarding his future career plans are “not known at the moment.”
