Following the expansion of its R&D department, Klarius has announced the release of 95 new emissions parts to its 10,000-plus item product range. The new additions include type-approved catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters, exhausts and related fittings. New parts service vehicles across the automotive spectrum, incorporating old and new, from commercial vehicles and SUVs to popular models and sports cars.
Klarius has backed up the quality of its training after teaming up with the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). The IMI visited the exhaust manufacturer to validate its latest emissions product training modules. The professional institute for those working in the motor industry offers accreditation for educational courses to help increase knowledge and quality within the industry. Klarius says this mission statement is closely aligned with Klarius’ approach to the market of providing education and supplying high quality type-approved components.
Additives for diesel engines allow many diesel vehicles to keep pace with ever stricter emissions legislation, while also providing improved Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) performance. Typically, diesel additives will either be Fuel Borne Catalysts (FBC) or Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF); which offer differing benefits for processing the noxious gases produced by the diesel combustion process. Britain’s largest aftermarket exhaust manufacturer, Klarius Products Ltd, has released its latest new-to-range parts list for summer 2016. The list covers 72 new parts for 150 separate vehicle applications, independently-tested catalysts for the Peugeot 207 1.4l, exhaust assemblies for the Citroen Berlingo 1.6HDI, tail pipes for the 2016 Vauxhall Astra 1.3/1.7 CDTI models and mounting kits for the Audi A4 2.0TDI. Klarius also aims to support older models, with the 1998 Mitsubishi Spacewagon and LDV Pilot 1.9D also receiving new model specific emissions components in this round of introductions.
The new Klarius Emission Control Garage Accreditation scheme is designed to improve garage’s ability to deliver emission control product knowledge and services, while also increasing sales. The mission is to provide a mixture of professional training, signage and promotional tools all designed to increase customer confidence in solving Exhaust, CAT and DPF related issues.
The latest ‘New to Range’ parts list from Klarius Products has now been released. The catalogue list details the new products that the Staffordshire-based exhaust manufacturer brought to market in the first quarter of 2016, and contains new products for a wide range of vehicles of varying ages, including popular models, sports cars, saloons, commercial vehicles and SUVs.
The UK’s largest manufacturer of exhausts, CATs and DPFs for the aftermarket has announced £1.5m of project investment to begin in 2016. Klarius Products states that it has allocated the money to production capacity increases, quality improvements, and lead time reduction on new parts.
Klarius Products has launched its latest new-to-range parts list, including 48 parts covering 70 product applications for a wide variety of vehicles. The company aims to release new parts into the market on a daily basis as its 2016 priority, Klarius adds. Its current list encompasses numerous vehicle models and sectors, including parts for niche automotive applications as well as mainstream models.
Klarius has released a statement in response to the final report on catalytic convertor type approval from The Department for Transport; the company says it welcomes the report as it “fully vindicates the Klarius assertion that the issues it experienced over type-approval on some CATs late last year was an administrative error – one that was quickly and efficiently resolved working with the VCA.” Furthermore, Klarius has issued an official ‘thank you’ for the trust and loyalty maintained by its customers and partners.
The Department for Transport has ruled on its investigation into allegations of malpractice by Klarius Products Ltd. The principal allegation made against Klarius was that unapproved replacement catalytic converters were being placed on the market in breach of regulation 8(1) of the Motor Vehicle (Replacement of Catalytic Converters and Pollution Control Devices) Regulations 2009.
Klarius Products has released a new exhaust for the Nissan Juke 1.6 petrol, and has a range of parts for the 1.5DCi model in development. The new parts include premium centre and rear mufflers plus complementing chrome trim, which makes Klarius Products amongst the first to the market with regards to aftermarket support for the quirky-looking but popular compact SUV.
UK manufacturer of exhausts, CATs and DPFs Klarius has opted to bring forward its manufacturing conformity certification for 2015. The company explains that this would “provide more solid evidence of its commitment to premium quality products at a standard price.” This includes the the full manufacturing process for its entire emission control product range covering over 10,000 individual parts.
A downpipe-back Klarius exhaust system sourced through Euro Car Parts’ online number plate look-up system has allowed father and son team John and David Baxter to get their 1978 Mercedes 350SL convertible on the road, having impulse-bought the car on eBay. Martin Gray, CEO of Euro Car Parts, commented: “I love it when things like this happen; we advertise Euro Car Parts as able to supply ‘any part for any car’ when someone challenges us by looking up a really obscure part on our website and we can supply it, it just proves we can walk-the-walk…”
