Following the news of the Klarius directors’ acquittal, Tyres & Accessories got in touch in order to find out the inside line of what happened in and around the case.
Additional Klarius DPFs released
New to range Klarius emission control components include DPFs for the latest version of Ford’s iconic Transit. Crown Court acquits Klarius directors
Manchester Crown Court cleared five current and past directors and managers of Klarius Products Ltd of charges of selling non-typed approved catalytic converters on 3 December. The case, which was brought by the DVSA, had alleged that between 01/02/2013 and 30/08/2015 the business of Klarius Products Ltd, carried on for fraudulent purposes, the marketing, distribution and sale of counterfeit and non-type approved catalytic converters.
Klarius adds Mini Cooper, Skoda Octavia exhausts
Klarius Products has added a range of new exhaust systems suitable for a wide selection of popular hatchbacks and saloons to its product range. These include fitments for the Mini Cooper and Skoda Octavia.
Klarius wins prestigious manufacturing excellence award
Klarius has been presented with the Northern Automotive Alliance’s Manufacturing Excellence Award. The award was presented by Jaguar Land Rover and followed a detailed application that focussed on continuous improvement (CI) and a quality driven culture at the company’s manufacturing plant in Cheadle near Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

Kia Cee’d top of list of new Klarius exhaust models
Klarius Products Ltd has released its latest new-to-range list of exhausts and catalytic converters (CATs), with delivery available from distributors in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia. Popular commercial vehicles and hatchbacks are the focus of the update. The Kia Cee’d 1.6 for model years 2012-2015 gains a new replacement system, among other popular modern contemporaries such as the benchmark Ford Focus 2.0, the spritely Renault Twingo 1.1, Vauxhall’s Astra 1.4, Audi’s A3 1.4, Volvo’s V40 1.6 and the Volkswagen Golf 2.0. Ford’s Transit 2.2 van also gains a new exhaust for model years 2007-2009.

BMW privateers select Klarius exhausts for the grid
With solid body control, decent grip, rear wheel drive and 50/50 weight distribution it was only a matter of time before someone took the BMW 1 Series racing. It is no surprise then that champions of affordable motorsport 750 Motorclub and 116 Racing are gearing up for a new endurance championship starring BMW’s entry level model. Thanks to a deal with UK manufacturer Klarius Products, every car on the grid will sport a lightweight Klarius racing exhaust.
