Protyre shares that its Colchester Centre has gained the title of Pirelli Performance Centre (PPC) of the Year 2024/25. The Micheldever Group retail network considers PPC of the Year a “prestigious award that recognises outstanding technical expertise, exceptional customer service, and industry-leading standards.”
BMTR Birmingham has secured a double victory in Pirelli’s UK retail network awards. The West Midlands retailer was awarded Pirelli Performance Centre (PPC) of the Year and Pirelli’s 4×4 Key Dealer of the Year, recognising BMTR’s “exceptional commitment to excellence and outstanding service in the automotive industry,” according to Pirelli. This is the fifth time BMTR have been crowned PPC of the Year. Chris Woodhall, sales director at BMTR, said the awards were “a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our entire team.” Pirelli UK CEO, Livio Magni, said that the company applauds BMTR “for achieving this accolade for the fifth time. BMTR Birmingham has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence in all areas of their business, from customer service to technical expertise.”
Micheldever Tyre and Auto Services in Winchester has been named Pirelli 4×4 Key Dealer of the Year for a third time in the award’s five-year history. Pirelli UK commercial director, Jason Sugden congratulated the branch, saying the brand’s audit “is designed to really test the knowledge of the depot and to receive a winning score is testament to all the team and their hard work.”
Pirelli has appointed Jason Sugden commercial director for United Kingdom and Eire. Sugden joined Pirelli 31 years ago as part of the sales team, working his way up to sales director. In his new role, based in Burton-upon-Trent, he will be responsible for the company’s replacement commercial business.
Merityre Specialists Limited, Sunbury on Thames said that its status as Tyre Retail Centre of the Year, presented to the company at the National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) annual awards, was reward for its hard work. The centre also stated that the support it receives as a Pirelli Performance Centre (PPC) has helped it to achieve its high standards.
