With the upcoming The Tire Cologne event just around the corner, organisers are gearing up for what promises to be an exceptional gathering in the tyre and wheel industry. Expectations are high even before the show gets under way in early June, with a significant increase in exhibitors compared to the 2022 event.
Major industry trade fair The Tire Cologne is drawing near and will take place between 4 and 6 June. Following its debut in 2018 and first post-pandemic show in 2022, this third instalment promises to be a significant event for the tyre and wheel industry. Advance ticket sales for the three-day event have commenced and show organiser Koelnmesse has now published an exhibitor list online. Three of the world’s largest tyre makers don’t appear on it.
The organiser of The Tire Cologne 2024 promises to pay even more attention to the circular economy at next year’s show, with tyre retreading and recycling now “concentrated in a centrally located themed area.” The tyre industry exhibition returns to Cologne, Germany between 4 and 6 June 2024.
After a four-year absence, The Tire Cologne is preparing to make a comeback in May. Continental, Falken, Hankook, Michelin and Pirelli have already signed up as exhibitors. Show organiser Koelnmesse and conceptual sponsor the German Tyre Retail and Vulcanisation Trade Association (BRV) discussed their plans at a digital press conference this morning.
The organiser of The Tire Cologne 2022 is encouraging potential exhibitors to take the plunge with an early bird discount, which can be obtained until 30 June. Koelnmesse comments that initial indications and registrations “all point to the trade fair being another strong business event that will live up to its ambition.”
The organisers of The Tire Cologne are feeling pleased with themselves. Not only is 70 per cent of the next show’s exhibitor floorspace already booked and rented a good nine months before it begins, the exhibitor list includes all five of the world’s leading tyre makers.
