Following the release of its TPMS programming app at Autopromotec 2022, Hamaton has revealed details about its first major update on iOS.
Following news of its launch at the start of April 2022, TPMS specialist Hamaton is promoting its BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) sensor exclusively for Tesla vehicles at the Tire Cologne and Autopromotec exhibitions in May and has revealed some more details.
Hamaton has promoted Enri Osmani, general manager of Hamaton Inc., to vice president of the company’s North American distribution and technical centre. Osmani has worked in the TPMS market for 12 years.
Hamaton is launching a brand-new aftermarket replacement valve for the Sysgration BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) sensor, which has been produced specifically for the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y.
In mid-June Hamaton introduced the ATEQ VT37 as its lowest priced TPMS tool. ATEQ describes the VT37 as an activation, programming, and TPMS relearn tool ideal for DIYers, technicians and front counter workers. The VT37 supersedes the VT36, providing comprehensive vehicle-specific relearn procedures, which will benefit technicians during the sensor replacement process.
TPMS manufacturer Hamaton has extended the initial software subscription customers receive when they purchase a new ATEQ VT56 tool to three years from one. Users will, therefore, have access to regular software updates for two extra years at no extra cost.
Hamaton Ltd, a leading TPMS product manufacturer, has shared its tips on how to prepare and take advantage of increased TPMS demand. Hamaton’s tips are summarised with the words: prepare, train and sell.
ATEQ TPMS Tools has launched the “Live Sensor” platform, purportedly the first real-time updating portal for every sensor maker that is in ATEQ tools. On 2 November 2020, ATEQ announced that “Live Sensor is a brand-new, patent-pending technology that allows sensor information to be updated in real-time, allowing users to keep their tool updated as new information is added”.
Following the release of the H36, H46 and H47, Hamaton has teamed up with ATEQ once again to launch the new H56 TPMS tool. According to the company, the H56 boasts the same great features as ATEQ’s all-in-one VT56 but comes with free software updates for five years (which cease if you upgrade to the all-sensor option). The five-year deal offers four more years than its counterpart.
Previewed at last year’s Autopromotec, Hamaton is promoting its H47 device, which the company calls “the most cost-effective diagnostic tool launched by Hamaton to date.”
Hamaton has expanded the valve stem range for its EU-Pro Hybrid 3.5 to include a graphite version. The new Graphite Clamp-In valve boasts the same features and benefits as its alloy and black counterparts.
Hamaton’s latest TPMS sensor generation, the EU-Pro Hybrid 3.5 possesses a technologically advanced feature – a multiprotocol app. According to the company, the multiprotocol-app contains pre-programmed protocols for many popular German vehicles, including BMW, Mercedes and Smart. Sensors come ready to install – additional programming isn’t necessary. Therefore, garages can dramatically reduce the time it takes to fit sensors, which will be hugely beneficial during busy tyre changeover seasons.
Hamaton launched its EU-Pro Hybrid 3.5 universal programmable sensor at Autopromotec at the end of May. The EU-Pro Hybrid 3.5 combines three new technologies in a lightweight yet durable housing, weighing just 26 grams thanks to a laser-welded rear cover.
Hamaton is exhibiting at Autopromotec – the international automotive aftermarket trade show – in Bologna from 22-26 May. During the five-day event, Hamaton is launching two TPMS products on a brand-new stand.
Hamaton reports that it has expanded its valve portfolio with the addition of the TR413 and TR414 Snap-In valves.
