Testing carried out by independent inspection company DEKRA at the request of Goodyear Dunlop suggests that the Goodyear EfficientGrip Cargo light commercial vehicle tyre can achieve an average additional mileage of 13,344 miles (21,475 kilometres).
Directors of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company have declared a quarterly dividend of US$0.10 per share of common stock. The dividend is payable 1 March 2017, to shareholders of record on 1 February, 2017. The payout represents an annual rate of 40 cents per share.
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has signed a technology agreement with California-based Tesloop Inc. to model tyre performance based on data generated by the city-to-city mobility service.

Goodyear has announced the introduction of a new High Load version of its Fuelmax T trailer tyre. The HL 385/65R22.5 Fuelmax T is engineered for axle loads of up to 10 tonnes, meeting the increasing demand for such tyres as more European countries adopt higher vehicle weights. Like two other sizes of the trailer tyre, the new size achieves the highest A grade in fuel efficiency on the EU tyre label.
Production at Goodyear’s remaining facility in Wolverhampton end before Christmas. According to a statement released by the tyre maker, the Bushbury Lane factory will stop making tyres on 20 December rather than the originally-given date of 31 December. The end of production will be followed by a six month close-down period.

An agreement signed between Goodyear and the Luxembourg Institute of Science & Technology (LIST) yesterday at the tyre maker’s Goodyear Innovation Center in Colmar-berg, Luxembourg will see the two parties focus upon investments in sustainable mobility and next-generation materials.
