Delivered at its training centre in Nottingham, the IMI-accredited Garage Hive Service Advisor course equips front-of-house staff with the skills and knowledge to fully leverage Garage Hive’s most advanced tools, enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
More than one million independent garage transactions have now been logged on Garage Hive’s real-time data platform, Garage Industry Trends. The website tracks average invoice value, future bookings, labour rates, net promoter score (NPS) and shows demand for repairs and maintenance by vehicle age and fuel type.
Garage Hive has appointed Tom Langridge as Head of Training at its IMI-approved training centre in Nottingham. Previously serving as Head of Implementation, Langridge has worked with hundreds of workshops across the UK and Ireland, helping them unlock the full potential of Garage Hive’s management system.

Workshops making purchases using Garage Hive’s GSF integration will receive a rebate on their total spend, added directly to the GSF loyalty rewards program, ‘TradeClub’. Points here can be redeemed on garage equipment and tooling, or high street vouchers.
The Blend Awards 2024 has extended its entry deadline for small independent garages and mobile repair businesses in its Garage of the Year category for businesses with one to four staff members. The awards is targeting a boost in recognition for small garage operations. Independent garages in the UK and Ireland must submit their award entry online here by 7 August to be considered. Entries into all other Blend Awards have now closed.

Garage Hive has launched a new data website called Garage Industry Trends. The garage management system’s managing director Ray Dilsons introduced the new site during his keynote address to a group of 230 customer and industry delegates attending The Blend 2022 conference at Birmingham’s Eastside Rooms on 17 September. The new service uses aggregated data from Garage Hive customers that have opted in to create key performance metrics in real-time. Garage Hive says more than 80 customers signed up to share anonymised data during the conference and in the subsequent week.
