Fornnax introduced the SR-200 HD Dual-Shaft Primary Shredder at India Rubber Expo (IRE) at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai on 20 March. According to the company, “the SR-200 HD marks a significant leap in recycling technology, demonstrating Fornnax’s dedication to engineering excellence and sustainability.”
Shouguang-based tyre manufacturer Firemax plans to invest in a Cambodian factory in 2024, according to local media reports. The project has been registered with the project department. According to filing information, the total investment in the project is US$190 million, with a designed annual production capacity of 1.2 million all-steel radial tyres and 8 million semi-steel radial tyres.
On 24 April 2022, the State Administration for Market Regulation of China announced the sampling inspection results of transportation products in 2021. Among the 24 batches of tyre products randomly checked by government departments, there were two batches of what are referred to as “unqualified products”, with a resulting failure rate of 8.3 per cent. In 2019 and 2020, the failure rate of the tyre product sampling inspection was 2 per cent and 0 per cent respectively.
