Federal-Mogul Motorparts has launched a new Champion braking range to complement its existing aftermarket products portfolio. The expansion is designed to make Champion a “one-stop-shop”, Federal-Mogul states, by providing a full range of essential service components. The official unveiling took place at Equip Auto in Paris from 17 to 21 October.
Federal-Mogul Motorparts has announced an agreement between its Moog brand and NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. The company will provide all competition cars with steering and suspension components. the new agreement complements its long-standing NASCAR partnership, which has stood since 1966.

Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation has published test results that show Ferodo Eco-Friction low and zero copper brake pads provide greater stopping power compared to competitors’ traditional, copper-based materials. The test was carried out by UK independent proving ground and research consultancy, MIRA. From 100kph, Eco-Friction brake pads are shown to improve the braking performance of a Mk6 Volkswagen Golf, Europe’s bestselling car, by 10 per cent, with similar equivocal results displayed across the passenger and light commercial vehicle sectors.
