Point S growth continues in China and the Far East

“If the [pandemic] situation continues to improve”, Tyrexpo Asia 2021 will proceed as planned albeit with some digital modifications, the Singapore tyre trade exhibition’s organiser Tarsus Group have reported. Specifically, Tarsus Group reports that it is implementing digital elements “alongside the live event” scheduled to be held 17-19 November 2021.
Tyrexpo Asia organisers Tarsus have announced that the 2021 show will host a number of business summits as part of its renewed offer. Specifically, Event Project Director, Alwin Seow has revealed his intention of working with key partners to stage a series of five or possibly six individual Conferences that will cover many aspects of the tyre and automotive industry:
The tyre market in the Philippines is forecast to grow at a CAGR of about 13.85 per cent between 2014 and 2019, according to a report published by TechSci. The report suggests the growth will be fuelled by a growing vehicle parc, infrastructure development and growth-focused initiatives taken by the government. While two-wheeler tyres accounted for a majority of the market share in 2013, the NCR region remained the highest contributor in tyre sales due to a large population living in the region and rapid development in industries located in the region.
