Having recently invested in its manufacturing, warehouse and logistics infrastructure Klarius Products Ltd based in Cheadle is looking for up to 40 new employees over the next eight weeks. Anyone from the local area who has manufacturing skills, warehouse experience or administrative qualifications is being encouraged to get in touch.
Standard Motor Products Europe (SMPE), one of the UK’s largest independently owned automotive parts manufacturers and suppliers, has introduced three new exhaust pressure sensors for sought after Ford diesel engine vehicles.
Keeping-up the momentum with its policy of introducing over 600 new to range (NTR) products this year Klarius has just released close to fifty emission control parts including all the most in-demand new requests from early 2018.
The VW Amarok caused quite the stir when it was released upon an unsuspecting public 8 years ago, not least as it was (and in fact remains) comfortably the largest European pickup truck on sale. Perhaps that’s one reason why Milltek Sport has just added an exhaust designed for the 3.0 V6 TDI to its ever-expanding range.
Milltek Sport has wasted no time in drawing up a range of performance exhaust offerings for the Quadrifoglio.
Those seeking to utterly transform the character of their Quadrifoglio would be well advised to plump for Milltek’s cat-back option, though even this can be specified in either resonated or non-resonated forms.
Sir Bill Cash, MP for Stone officially cut the ribbon on a giant machine tool as part of an investment of over £1 million by the car parts manufacturing company Klarius.
Klarius has launched a new web-based parts directory that catalogues every component the company supplies, all of which can be searched via a standard web browser. Quicker searches and comparative drawings promise to make the process of identifying both individual exhaust components and complete systems faster and more convenient than ever.
Klarius Products Ltd has added an additional 48 components to its emissions control range. New components cover applications across the automotive spectrum, incorporating old and new models. New parts now available include DPFs for the Ford Transit 2.4TDCi, exhaust muffler boxes with centre pipes for the Fiat 500, combined CAT and DPF units for the BMW 3, 5 and 6 series, plus tailpipes for the Nissan Navara 2.5DCi.
Klarius designs replacement emissions systems based on demand cycles and the ageing of vehicles, so new exhausts can often be developed for discontinued cars. Luckily for the loyal owner of a Saab 9-5 Aero Estate, Klarius had indeed developed a complete replacement emissions system. Independent Klarius approved garage Bewdley Autos took care of the work and it resulted in a very happy customer.
When specifying a replacement aftermarket exhaust, ensuring that the vehicle’s efficiency, performance and MOT compliance are preserved is a primary concern. With this in mind, Doug Bentley, head of product development at UK aftermarket exhaust manufacturer Klarius, has issued a number of pointers about what makes a quality aftermarket exhaust.
Klarius Products has expanded its range with more than 100 new exhausts, catalytic converters (CATs), diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and accessories. The latest new-to-range list details every component released by Klarius during Q2 2017, which bolsters its 10,000-plus product range to support an ever-larger range of vehicles. The UK based manufacturer of aftermarket emissions components has an in-house R&D centre, enabling it to update its product range “on a daily basis,” it states.
Recent assessments of air quality in British cities have brought the issue of emissions generated by road vehicles back under the spotlight. With major manufacturers and individual motorists potentially contributing to the problem, it raises the question, what steps can the aftermarket industry and motorists take to improve the environmental credentials of the petrol and diesel vehicles on British roads?
