Now, Europe’s largest aftermarket emission control parts manufacturer Klarius is supporting the existing models with a range of new quality replacement exhaust systems.

When it comes to protecting Britain’s wildlife, the work carried out by Wakefield District Badger Group, a part of the Badger Trust, is vital. Effective Monday 16 July 2018, Mark Brickhill has become Klarius Group chief executive officer which covers Klarius Products, machine specialist KMT and related tools/consumables business Emissco. Brickhill is well known to the tyre industry having previously been Goodyear Dunlop UK MD and other executive positions within Goodyear’s EMEA operation.
Klarius Products Ltd has appointed Trevor Hudson as business development manager for Germany. Offering over two decades of experience in sales and marketing, Hudson will be supporting existing aftermarket partners, while also offering a management link for OE customers and developing new distribution channels.
Recent investment has provided Klarius with increased manufacturing capacity for automotive OEM and aftermarket emission control products including exhausts, CATs and DPFs.
“Demand is being driven by both the UK market and export growth” states Paul Hannah, Business Development Director. “The aftermarket is changing rapidly and while quality is still very important, once the required standards and certifications have been met, the focus is all on range and availability.
The automotive industry is now implementing a new ‘real-world’ emissions testing procedure for vehicles that will hopefully make quoted mpg figures a bit more accurate but could mean higher tax brackets for many cars. The push by manufacturers to produce vehicles that are more optimised for the new test will therefore likely see some trends in engine design change.
MTS has introduced two new exhaust systems for the Dacia Logan and Duster as part of its ongoing plan to bring to the UK aftermarket products in demand.
Klarius Products’ new-to-range program has marked the beginning of summer with the addition of over 20 new type-approved, OEM quality emission control components this month. Bosal Automotive And Industrial Components Limited, which traded as BAIC Ltd, officially entered administration on 5 June 2018. The business which was registered as operating in “the wholesale trade of motor vehicle parts and accessories” is perhaps best known for its exhausts business, the UK branch of which is based in Preston, Lancashire. Details were published in the London Gazette on 11 June.
