Pirelli holds the distinction of being the only company within the automotive components sector to achieve ‘Gold Class’ in the SAM Sustainability Yearbook 2020. Other tyre makers to gain a ranked position in the Yearbook were Hankook Tire & Technology and Nokian Tyres, which both achieved SAM Bronze Class, and Bridgestone Corporation, which was acknowledged as a Sustainability Yearbook Member.
The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has welcomed leading manufacturer in commercial vehicle warning and safety products, ECCO Safety Group (ESG) EMEA to its membership.
Yokohama Rubber stock has been selected for inclusion in two additional indices that focus on the stocks of companies that demonstrate strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. In addition to the FTSE Russell FTSE4Good Index, which it has been a component of for 13 consecutive years, Yokohama Rubber has been newly included in FTSE Russell’s FTSE Blossom Japan Index and MSCI Inc.’s MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index.
