At November’s EIMA 2024 show in Italy, BKT launched four new products that it “designed and engineered to meet the increasingly complex needs of modern agriculture.” The off-highway tyre specialist comments that “efficiency and productivity” were the “driving force” behind the research and development process involved in bringing these tyres to market.

The EIMA agricultural machinery begins in Bologna today, and show organiser FederUnacoma, the Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, has taken the opportunity to provide an overview of the global agricultural machinery market. The association notes an “unfavourable trend in the agricultural and industrial sectors” in the first six months of 2024 but nonetheless emphasises the importance of maintaining investment in technologies that increase crop yield and aid agricultural sustainability. FederUnacoma’s position reflects the comments we’ve heard from several premium agricultural tyre makers in recent times.
With the launch of Vredestein Traxion CropCare, Apollo Tyres Ltd now offers a VF sprayer tyre within its agricultural range and believes this product will “set new standards in the row crop tyre segment for stability, self-cleaning and long life.” Engineered specifically for trailed and self-propelled sprayers, Apollo will initially offer the new Vredestein tyre in two sizes – VF 380/90 R46 and VF 380/105 R50 – from early 2025.
Indian agricultural tyre specialist BKT will exhibit at EIMA, a leading international exhibition for agricultural machinery in Bologna, Italy from 6-10 November, 2024. The Indian multinational said its display would include events, experiences, and product launches for the agro-mechanical industry. BKT has a large exhibition area of more than 600sqm at stand B1 in hall 36.
Trelleborg Tires will introduce its first agriculture rubber track, the ART1000, at the EIMA 2024 exhibition, which will take place in Bologna, Italy from 6 to 10 November. Alongside this launch, Trelleborg will showcase a wide range of products and services designed to meet the evolving needs of modern farming.
Agricultural tyre specialist BKT has supported the 2021 edition of the Tractor of the Year Awards, presented at the EIMA trade fair in Bologna. It is the second time the manufacturer has sponsored the awards, which recognise the most innovative and cutting-edge tractors on the market.
After postponing the event scheduled for November 2020, the organiser of EIMA International is planning to hold its agricultural machinery trade fair in Bologna next February. But not all exhibitors are convinced this is the right decision. In light of the ongoing coronavirus situation, tyre maker BKT has chosen not to take part in the show and instead will promote its products via digital media.
